Provide architectural leadership to establish an enterprise -wide
Agent Orchestration and Management Control Tower. The role will define and
guide the implementation of core capabilities that enable secure, scalable and
governed delivery of AI/automation agents across a federated operating model,
while providing a single pane of glass for visibility, control,
assurance and intervention.
Key Accountabilities
Architecture & Strategy
- Define the target architecture, reference patterns and roadmap for the Agent
Control Tower, aligned to enterprise standards and mining operational risk
expectations.
- Translate
conceptual wiring into implementable architecture covering
platforms, integrations, governance, and runtime controls.
Agent Lifecycle Governance
- Architect
and standardize agent registration, approval, validation and policy
binding.
- Establish permission‑based
discovery and cataloging of agents and tools across business units.
- Ensure
lifecycle governance is embedded into federated delivery pipelines.
Orchestration & Control
- Define
orchestration patterns to enable controlled agent invocation, tool access
and inter‑agent interaction.
- Establish
control points (e.g. gateways/proxies, policies, contracts) to enforce
enterprise guardrails.
Key Deliverables
- Agent
Control Tower Reference Architecture & Target State
- MVP Implementation
Blueprint (services, integrations, environments)
- Agent Registration,
Discovery & Observability Standards
- Assurance
& Intervention Framework
- Federated Operating
Model and Governance Artifacts (ADRs, guardrails, templates)
Required Experience & Skills
- 8–12+
years in Enterprise / Platform Architecture within complex, regulated
environments (resources, mining, heavy industry preferred).
- Proven
experience designing platform control planes,
registries/catalogues, and governance frameworks.
- Strong
background in integration architecture, observability, and
security -by -design.
- Demonstrated
success operating across federated delivery models.
- Executive‑level
communication and decision‑making capability.

observability , Assurance & Intervention
- Architect end‑to‑end
severability for agents (telemetry, health, cost, performance).
- Define
assurance workflows to detect deviation, drift or policy breaches.
- Design intervention
mechanisms (e.g. throttling, blocking, kill‑switches) with full
audibility.
Enterprise Integration
- Integrate
the control tower with observability, security, ITSM, data and cost
management platforms.
- Define
canonical data and event models to enable consistent reporting and
operational response.
Federated Operating Model
- Establish
architecture governance, standards, and RACI for federated agent
delivery teams.
- Coach
teams, drive adoption of guardrails, and ensure architectural integrity at
scale.
