About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in medical and surgical nursing to join our energetic healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients across a variety of conditions, including pre-operative and post-operative care. You will play a critical role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized nursing care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IVs per facility protocols and policies.
- Monitor and document patient vitals, progress, and treatment responses.




- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, post-surgical care, and recovery plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations using advanced clinical skills.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and workplace safety standards.

Essential Criteria

- Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, triage, and care planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
