Job Description

We're on the lookout for a People & Culture Business Partner in Sydney or Melbourne to join our close-knit yet formidable team. Your mission? To champion an exceptional employee experience at Avec – fostering growth, appreciation, authenticity, and peak performance every single day.

- Responsible for day-to-day operational management and delivery of ongoing functional enhancements.

- Confidently lead and execute the implementation of people-related initiatives and projects to enhance engagement and culture, independently.

- Provide support and advice on technical matters with best practice and in accordance with legislation and policies.





- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively consult to stakeholders to influence and implement P&C; best practices that support Avec’s growth and success.

- Join the development and own the execution of a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with Avec’s mission and business objectives.

- Drive innovation and operational excellence into our culture, employee experience, processes, and technologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

- Proven track record as a P&C; Business Partner and has extensive experience collaborating, influencing and solving problems with the senior leadership team.

- Ideally has demonstrated experience working in a start-up consulting firm. However, this isn’t required.

- Demonstrated experience working in a rapid-paced environment, leading and executing key people-related initiatives and projects with minimal supervision.

- Strong relationship building and customer orientation skills with a focus to deliver to outcomes.

- Strong operational management skills and willingness to handle administrative tasks.

- Possesses appreciation for process and strong attention to detail while excelling in ambiguity.

- Proactive go-getter who gets Get Sh#!t Done and likes to have fun while doing so!
