Plant Mechanic | Resident Field Service - Goulburn

WesTrac is expanding our Field Service team and we’re looking for experienced Plant Mechanics / Heavy Diesel Technicians to support customers across Goulburn.

If you enjoy autonomy, problem‑solving and working on world‑class Caterpillar equipment, this role offers variety, stability and a lifestyle‑friendly roster.

What You’ll Do

- Diagnose, service and repair CAT mobile plant equipment in the field

- Deliver safe, high‑quality work with minimal downtime for customers

- Work independently across multiple customer sites

- Represent WesTrac with robust technical capability and customer service

Roster & Benefits

- Roster: Monday to Friday

- Shifts:



8.5 hour day shifts

- Vehicle: Supplied

- Potential earnings: $52.87 hourly to $57.91 hourly (assessed on skills and experience)

What You’ll Bring

- Cert III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent trade)

- Experience working on Caterpillar equipment

- Strong diagnostics and repair capability

- OEM experience, SIS/ET exposure (highly regarded)

- Ability to work autonomously in the field

- Current driver’s licence
