Scope Healthcare is a leading provider of respiratory and sleep services, committed to high-quality patient care and innovative solutions. We are seeking a skilled Respiratory & Sleep Technician to join our team and support the delivery of diagnostic respiratory and sleep services.
Role Overview
As a Respiratory & Sleep Technician, you will:
- Perform diagnostic assessments including pulmonary/lung function testing and home sleep studies.
- Interpret results and provide recommendations to patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure patients understand procedures and address any questions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage test data in line with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide cohesive patient care.
- Ensure all respiratory and sleep testing equipment is maintained and calibrated.
Skills and Qualifications
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Clinical experience in respiratory and/or sleep testing.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Respiratory Science,
Health/Biomedical Science, or related field.
- Certification as a Respiratory Technician (or equivalent per local regulations, ANZSRS standards).
- Additional certifications in sleep medicine or pulmonary function testing highly regarded.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both patients and healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with healthcare software platforms (e.g., HealthTrack).
- Highly detail-oriented and analytical.
- Valid Australian driver’s license.
