Our client is a well-established flooring company specialising in tiles and wooden flooring with 6 different showrooms in South East Queensland. They provide professional supply and installation services for all their products to their retail, builder, designer, architect, developer and trade clients.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full-time sales representative to join their Capalaba team. This position involves getting out and actively finding current clients not just being stuck in the showroom.
Full-training in their products and services will be provided.
Responsibilities will include:
- Servicing existing and new customers in store, over the phone and via email
- Advising customers on suitable flooring products
- Establishing new and maintaining existing customers for retail, builders and trade
- Conducting site measurements and customer site visits
- Liaising with the customer and installation team throughout the entire process
- Ensuring forms and records are completed accurately and on time
- Help in the maintenance and cleaning of showroom and warehouse
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in sales, flooring preferred but not essential
- Proven experience meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication skills
- Driven and confident, this role requires getting out and about, forming relationships with potential new customers
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Confident using computer software such as Microsoft Office
