Charterhouse are partnered with a well-established mid-tier firm who have a national presence and 3 offices across Sydney who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

The firms Services include Financial Planning, Accounting - Personal and Business, Mortgage Advice, Corporate Superannuation, Retirement Planning, Wealth Management, Personal Superannuation, Self-Managed Super Funds, Wealth Protection, Estate Planning and Business Consulting
About the role
The role will ideally sit within their Norwest office however; due to multiple offices this role can be worked out of any of their offices.
You will work closely with a successful leadership team, and you will manage your own diverse portfolio of clients, including some with turnovers exceeding $200m
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
- Assisting with taxation issues,
including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
- Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Managing client interactions and responsibilities
- Mentoring and training junior staff members including reviewing their work
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Business Services
- Proficiency with Xero
- Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
- A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
