Due to continued growth in their specialist SMSF portfolio, they are now looking to appoint a senior professional to join their team. Your new role
Working as a Senior Accountant within a specialist team, you will take ownership of a high-quality portfolio of SMSFs while supporting and mentoring junior staff. Your role will include:
- Managing end-to-end SMSF administration and compliance
- Overseeing preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Providing technical guidance on SMSF legislation and tax matters
- Reviewing work completed by junior accountants and supporting their development
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities
- Working closely with partners on client strategy and overall business improvement
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you will demonstrate:
- A degree in Accounting or related discipline




- A minimum of 5 years' + experience in public practice, tax or business services
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of SMSF regulations and Australian tax law
- High-level competency with cloud accounting platforms
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Capability to supervise staff and manage workflow within a busy practice
