Senior Accountant - Business Services

The Opportunity

You'll step into a trusted Senior Accountant role within a well-established Business Services team, managing your own client portfolio and acting as a key advisor to SME clients across SE QLD.

While the role is fully WFH, the firm is intentionally Brisbane-based - meaning you'll still have:

- Local clients
- Occasional in-person collaboration (team days, training, client meetings if required)
- Clear career visibility and progression pathways

This is not an offshore or disconnected remote role - it's local, flexible, and long-term.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients across multiple industries
- Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS & IAS
- Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory support




- Liaise directly with clients and build long-term trusted relationships
- Mentor junior accountants and review work where required
- Identify value-add opportunities and process improvements

About You

- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- 4-7+ years' experience in Australian public practice
- Strong experience in Business Services / Tax
- Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
- Must be based in South East Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or surrounds)
