A highly reputable mid-sized national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its established Property & Development team in Melbourne. This is a growth role within a high-performing practice, offering exposure to end-to-end property development work alongside a highly regarded partner known for advising on complex and commercially driven projects.
Your new role
You will work across the full life cycle of property matters, including:
- Structuring and acquisition of development sites
- Due diligence and transaction management
- Residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments
- Subdivision and owners corporation work
- Leasing and ongoing asset management
- Advising on GST, stamp duty and other property-related considerations
The practice acts for a broad range of clients, including developers (listed and private), investors, financiers and commercial clients, with some exposure to multi-jurisdictional matters and offshore investors.
What you'll need to succeed
- Admitted to practice in Australia
- Ideally a minimum of 5 + years' PQE in property / real estate law




- Strong experience in property development work (highly regarded)
- Background from a mid-tier or top-tier firm preferred
- Ability to manage transactions and build client relationships
- Commercial, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
