Senior BA - 6-month contract opportunity in high profile programWe are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst (Docs & Notices) to join a large, complex insurance organisation undergoing significant digital and platform transformation. This role sits within the Pre-Delivery space and focuses on translating business and solution designs into delivery-ready technical requirements, ensuring engineers have clear, unambiguous scope to enable predictable delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit and elaborate integrated functional and non-functional technical requirements
- Translate business requirements and architectural designs into delivery-ready scope
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Technical Leads and Engineers
- Facilitate trade-offs between business outcomes, technical feasibility and platform constraints
- Define and validate non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, reliability)
- Build and maintain a high-quality delivery backlog (initiatives, epics, stories)
- Ensure end-to-end traceability across business requirements,



architecture and delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement of pre-delivery artefacts and ways of working

Skills & Experience
- Strong experience across Docs & Notices platforms (must-have)
- Hands-on experience with SmartComm (templates), Scriptura and FileNet (strongly preferred)
- Proven background working in technical delivery environments
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- Solid stakeholder engagement and decision-facilitation skills

This role offers a 6-month contract and a day rate of $900 + super per day. You'll be based in Sydney and enjoy flexible working arrangements (2-3 days in the office).
