An established, project-driven organisation is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to support its New Zealand operations. This role operates at a highly commercial level, partnering closely with senior executives and operational leaders.
There is strong potential for this role to be extended or to convert to a permanent position for a high-performing individual.
Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary finance partner to senior operational and executive stakeholders
- Own financial performance across multiple P&Ls;
- Deliver insightful analysis, forecasting, and commentary
- Lead month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Provide oversight of project accounting, including spend vs. budget analysis
- Support shareholder and executive-level reporting
- Translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights
- Partner closely with geographically dispersed leadership teams





About You

- Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on financial capability
- Advanced Excel skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced workplace.
- Background in project-based or asset-intensive environments preferred.
