Your current role
A rare and exciting opportunity has opened up in their Australian Head Office for a senior accountant. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will produce the IFRS package, taxation requirements, reporting and statutory accounting.
Specific duties include:

- Statutory cashflow, segment reporting and AASB15 / 16 disclosures
- Fixed assets maintenance, additions / disposals/ depreciation
- Balance sheet reconciliations, including variance and trend analysis.
- Month end and year-end close
- Group reporting including consolidation
- Transfer pricing and statutory taxation requirements
- Sales analysis and reporting to local management and Head office
- Process improvement projects and involvement in global systems upgrades

What you'll need to succeed

- CA or CPA qualified accountant with an impressive career to date.
- Experienced working for a complex sizeable company ideally within a product related / distribution model




- Strong understanding of accounting concepts
- Outstanding communication skills and confident liaising with internal stakeholders
- Ability to understand and manipulate data using your strong excel skills
- A working knowledge of SAP including upgrades
- A glass half full, proactive, inquisitive nature and solution-driven
