The Role
We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Production Draftsperson specialising in the Knock Down Rebuild (KDRB) space. This role will focus on our Sherridon Homes brand.
Founded in 2005, Sherridon Homes builds quality family homes across metropolitan Melbourne and various regional areas. Due to strong demand and ongoing enquiries, we are expanding our metro team with the addition of a dedicated KDRB department, focused on well-established locations.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Draftsperson with significant KDRB experience gained within a volume residential builder in Victoria.
This is a full-time, office-based role located at our Derrimut office, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Your responsibilities will include:
KDRB Production Draftsperson
- Knowledge of NCC, Victorian Rescode (Building Regulations) a MUST!
- Understanding when report and consent applicable and possible solutions to avoid
* Understanding typical site conditions impacting the design including reading aborist reports etc.
- Review and check drawings while updating checklist
- Amendments/Alterations as needed
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years’ of local experience with a volume residential builder in KDRB (essential)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Software
- Revit Skills advantageous
- Current knowledge of all VIC building regulations & Australian standards
- Full Australian working rights
