Your New RoleSydney State Govt. is seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst to provide onsite and remote IT support to staff in the Sydney office. This APS5-equivalent role sits within the Information & Technology Solutions (ITS) Branch and supports day-to-day IT operations, incident and service request management, and end-user technology.
Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality onsite and remote IT support, including executive support
- Manage incidents and requests in line with ITIL processes
- Administer user accounts, access and permissions
- Support end-user devices, peripherals and asset management
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues
- Maintain documentation and contribute to service improvements
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies

What you'll need to succeed
- Windows 11
- Microsoft Intune




- Active Directory & Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
- Microsoft 365, Office applications and Exchange Online
- End-user hardware (Microsoft Surface Pro, Apple iPhones, Cisco videoconferencing, MFDs)
- Basic network troubleshooting (VPN, LAN)
- ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow
