About The Role

An exciting casual fixed-term opportunity exist for an experienced, energetic and passionate hospitality professional to join our Service Operations in Acacia Ridge, from the 7th of December 2024 to the 25th of February 2025. The position will service our iconic rail tourism expedition 'The Great Southern'. We are seeking candidates with excellent interpersonal skills,



who are passionate and proud of the service they deliver and are consistently willing to go above and beyond for our guests.

Hours of Work:

1. Sunday – 3:00pm to 9:00pm
2. Monday – 7:00am to 1:00pm

About You

Candidates with demonstrated experience delivering high-quality guest service in a front-of-house hospitality environment will be highly regarded. You will be a transparent and thorough communicator and be able to multi-task between demanding priorities.

This position will require long periods of your feet, using office equipment and frequent heavy lifting duties will be required.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Setup of the Concierge and Platform arrival area, including putting out signage, steps, from storage container to platform
- Movement of stock from backups to bars, etc as required (heavy lifting required)
- Operation of mobility lifter as required
- Assist with overseeing of the cleaning contractors
- Pack up of concierge area, platform, storage container once tasks completed
- Loading of checked in bags from van/truck to luggage van (heavy lifting required)
- Pack down and securing of site once train has departed, steps, signs, trailer stored in storage container
- Housekeeping duties around the terminal
- Walkthrough of the train with cleaners for any last minute requirements
- Other duties as requested
