Weâre looking for warmâhearted music lovers to play live music for residents who absolutely enjoy clapping, humming, and singing along. No qualified background needed â just enthusiasm, kindness, and a love of performing for an appreciative audience.
All musical styles are welcome: classical , jazz, country, rock ânâ roll, or popular favourites from the 1930s onward. Whether you play an instrument or sing solo, your music can spark joy, memories, and connection.

Your impact
Volunteering as a musical and social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people receiving care at Hammondville.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday for a few hours, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
