Hybrid | 12 month Contract | Sydney / Melbourne / BrisbaneWe are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Developer to design, build, and configure enterprise-level insurance applications that address complex business requirements.
This role focuses primarily on Guidewire ClaimCenter within a dynamic and fast-paced insurance technology environment. The successful candidate will lead technical reviews, mentor development teams, and ensure adherence to best practices across the development lifecycle while delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration
- Strong understanding of Guidewire application architecture and design patterns
- Working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ContactManager
- Proficiency in GOSU, Guidewire Events & Rules Framework, and Guidewire Web Services
- Solid understanding of XML and JSON data formats
- Experience with build and deployment tools such as ANT, Maven, and Gradle
- Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
- Ability to mentor team members and support issue resolution




- Experience working within the Agile software development lifecycle

- Design, develop, configure, and test Guidewire-based software solutions
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing business systems and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely and effective manner
- Create, maintain, and update technical design and system documentation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design and deliver required functionality
- Ensure consistent application of development standards, best practices, and architectural patterns across teams
- Act as a technical mentor and advisor to junior developers
- Contribute to the delivery of scalable, high-quality, and cost-effective business solutions
