About the Client
A wellâresourced, rapidly growing national personal injury firm with a strong reputation and extensive support infrastructure. Over recent years the firm has expanded from a single Sydney office to a multiâstate practice of ~120 staff across 30+ locations and continues to grow via strategic acquisitions.
The opportunity
Our client has recently acquired a wellâknown NSW personal injury practice and is seeking an experienced leader to run and grow the acquired business. This is a handsâon operational and people leadership role responsible for stabilising and optimising the business postâacquisition, maintaining client outcomes and delivering sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Rapidly immerse in the acquired business to understand case workflows, systems, revenue drivers and team dynamics
- Map, audit and assess current processes, file management, compliance and performance metrics (caseload ~600 files)
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process redesigns and technology improvements to boost productivity and service quality
- Lead, engage and develop a team of ~20 legal and support staff; conduct performance reviews and implement training or role changes as required
- Maintain continuity of client service and case outcomes during transition
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategy, reporting and growth initiatives

Who weâre looking for
- Proven experience leading a personal injury practice or comparable legal operation,
ideally with exposure to postâacquisition integration or change management
- Strong operational mindset with experience auditing processes, redesigning workflows and improving efficiency
- Demonstrated people leadership: coaching, performance management and team restructuring where required
- Excellent communication skills and a clientâfocused, pragmatic approach
- Comfortable with handsâon file review as well as strategic planning and reporting
