This unique opportunity as a Store Service Attendant, contributes vital support to the Defence Force in beautiful Cairns, where it’s beautiful one day, perfect the next!

This full-time role supports all three Defence services, Navy, Army, and Air Force, under Ventia’s National Clothing Store Services contract. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, check, and acquit stores under supervision

- Pack stock and prepare for despatch

- Assist customers with kit issues

- Inspect and accept returned items

- Perform manual handling using various methods

What You’ll Bring:

- Defence background or Navy knowledge highly regarded





- Experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, or customer service

- Valid Driver’s Licence and own transport

- Strong computer proficiency

- High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management

- Ability to work effectively in a team and customer-focused setting

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance.
