This Strategic Commodity Manager will be responsible for driving supplier contract management, conducting supplier negotiations, analytically formulating and executing comprehensive supplier management strategies based on semiconductor technology landscapes and global business environments within the assigned commodity. nu2022 Responsible for establishing Supplier Strategy, evaluating/sourcing suppliers u0026 managing supplier relationship to drive projects to achieve goals of global procurement efforts. nu2022 Continuously scan markets u0026 global landscape to explore and evaluate strategic suppliers. nu2022 Coordinates with finance/accounting for inventory, cost savings u0026 cash flow management. nu2022 Evaluate new suppliers considering their organization capabilities, technology expertise, production capabilities, financial performance, customer orientation u0026 Supply chain robustness. nu2022 Ensure Suppliers have adequate capacity to support Lam demand as well as supply continuity risk management plans. nu2022 Representation on a cross-functional strategic commodity team that focuses on supply challenges and ensures internal/external customer needs are satisfied. Works cross-functionally with product, manufacturing and quality engineers as well as procurement, finance, u0026 product support nu2022 Regularly evaluate cost and quality performance benchmarks u0026 the risks associated with the preferred supply base selection. nu2022 Supplier Performance Management through Score cards and other related parameters. nu2022 Encourage and coordinate early supplier involvement in new product designs using the suppliersu2019 expertise to optimize quality, cost and manufacturability.

Manage the commodity spend by Negotiation/Mitigation of Price increases. Plan u0026 Execute cost reduction strategies through negotiations, material cost reductions, alternate sourcing, technology changes. nu2022 Support material availability escalations u0026 co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure no line down. nu2022 Supporting quality escalations to ensure standards/processes to ensure part/supplier compliance nu2022 Managing contracts for ongoing and new business with suppliers. nu2022 Data analysis u0026 representation for sourcing u0026 pricing evaluation u0026 decision making. nu2022 Responsible for business continuity plans and risk management programs. nu2022 Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities as related to cost structurenn## Who weu2019re looking fornnu2022 Min 10~12 years in commodity management in Engineering / Manufacturing Industry nu2022 Bacheloru2019s in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial engineering or any other stream.
