Provide amazing customer service and travel advice – whether it's telling stories around a campfire, leading a hike to an awe-inspiring view, or cooking a delicious meal, you’ll create incredible moments that our travellers will never forget

Ensure the safety and well-being of your travellers, at times you will have to assist in difficult situations whilst remaining calm and professional.

Host, lead and execute tours to budget, following the itinerary and fulfil your administrative duties

To be considered you must have:

-

Experience working in a physically demanding role in a remote setting, ideally as a tour guide in Australia

-

Strong customer service experience and the ability to build rapport with a broad range of travellers

-

Excellent communication skills in English and any additional languages are advantageous

Full rights to work in Australia

Have or be willing to gain a public passenger vehicle licence and a Medium Rigid Driver’s License, a Remote First Aid and CPR certificate prior to commencing with us.

Experience manual driving in a large vehicle, is desirable.

What you need to know:

This is a casual position which will give you flexibility in when and how you work however, great availability is always an asset.

-

We run tours throughout Australia and are always on the lookout for exceptional Tour Leaders in a range of places.

-

Priorities include but are not limited leaders that live in Alice Springs, Cairns, Tasmania and Adelaide/Kangaroo Island

-

Accommodation between trips is available in some locations, however local leaders are preferred

-

You’ll be running hiking, active and sightseeing trips, with some long days, lots of walking and engaging with travellers. It’s significant that you are prepared both mentally and physically for the challenge!

You’ll need the ability to travel and spend time away from home, as our leaders often travel for extensive periods at a time and some tours can span up to two weeks.
