The Role

Dynamic Music Lessons is seeking a passionate Traveling Piano Teacher to join our team on a contract basis. As a Traveling Piano Teacher, you will be responsible for providing FUN, personalised and high-quality one-on-one piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in the Central Brisbane area. This is a unique opportunity to build a adaptable career teaching music and inspiring the next generation of musicians. No prior teaching experience is necessary to apply!

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver engaging, tailored piano lessons to students in their own homes or at designated lesson locations
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their musical goals
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and lesson plans
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student development
- Collaborate with the Dynamic Music Lessons team to identify opportunities for student recitals and performances
- Attend periodic teacher meetings and professional development workshops to continuously improve teaching skills

What We're Looking For

- Proficient piano playing skills and the ability to demonstrate techniques effectively
- Willingness to learn and develop your teaching skills under the guidance and support of Elyssa, the Studio Director - previous teaching experience is not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and parents, and build positive relationships
- Patience, creativity,



and a passion for music education
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various, agreed upon locations within the Central Brisbane, St Lucia QLD area
- Hopes for a long-term working relationship
