We are seeking experienced and trade -qualified Vehicle Body Builders to join our growing team across various Australian sites. The successful candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and fitting of truck bodies, trailers, canopies, and specialist vehicle components. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and assemble vehicle bodies or accessories to specification.
- Fabricate, weld, and modify steel and alloy vehicle components.
- Install hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in vehicle builds.
- Conduct repairs and custom modifications to suit client requirements.
- Adhere to all workplace safety standards and Australian design rules.
- Collaborate with engineers and workshop teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Vehicle Body Building or equivalent Australian -recognised trade qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands -on experience in fabrication, body building, or coach building.
- Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and use of hand and power tools
- Understanding of ADRs (Australian Design Rules) and vehicle safety standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Robust attention to detail and problem -solving abilities.
