We have a rare opportunity available for a Vet Nurse to join our Kawana Waters team on a Casual basis!

Our Kawana Waters practice is located on the beautiful sunshine coast of Queensland within a couple hours’ drive to Noosa and the Gold Coast. We are well-equipped with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, Ultrasound, IM3 dental, Orthopaedic equipment, Tonopen and are stress-free accredited.

About your new role:

- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required




- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

About you:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and 2+ years of clinical experience
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia
- A calm, friendly, team player attitude
- Experience using RxWorks will be highly regarded
