The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here at Hammondville. From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords⦠whateverâ¯you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.â¯
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in a residential care home. Spend time engaging with residents one-on-one or in small groups.
And getting here is easy â thereâs a bus stop right outside, making your visits simple and convenient.
Your impact
While the main tasks are maintenance related, you will have the prospect to connect with our residents, providing meaning and purpose to your role.

HammondCare
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people receiving care at Hammondville.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday for a few hours, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
18 years or older ⢠NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
