Our ideal candidate:
- Proven experience in managing a warehouse or store environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, motivate, and inspire a team
- Highly motivated, determined, and ready to hit the ground running
- A natural problem solver, able to identify challenges and implement effective solutions quickly
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehousing best practices
- Committed to maintaining a protected, efficient, and productive workspace
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid car / truck / forklift licences
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient processes
- Supervise and lead a team, providing hands-on support,
training and guidance
- Ensure team members adhere to established procedures, maintaining high standards of performance and efficiency
- Ensure accurate stock control, inventory management, and regular stocktaking
- Organise and optimise storage space to maximise efficiency and product accessibility
- Manage and maintain safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for the team
- Handling administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and updating inventory records
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace, setting the standard for team members
