About the role:

Duties:

- Oversee daily maintenance tasks and repairs to enhance the centre’s appearance and functionality
- Assist in creating and managing a 12-month maintenance schedule
- Ensure timely resolution of retailer complaints and oversee day-to-day maintenance of the centre
- Follow established procedures for handling insurance claims and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations
- Perform regular WHS audits, equipment inspections, and annual fire drills
- Manage contractor inductions and conduct routine maintenance checks
- Understand and manage contracts, monitor contractor performance, and enforce secure work practices
- Actively participate in disaster management and maintain strong relationships with emergency services

Skills & experience:

- A trade background is beneficial but not essential




- Technical knowledge of building infrastructure and equipment
- Proven experience in operational administration within a corporate environment
- Proficient in computer applications with strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, when needed
