Centre Cook | Goodstart Griffith - Sanders Street
Part time | 12hrs per week
$22.73- $25.77 Per Hour + Super + Benefits

About Our Centre

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Griffith - Sanders Street is in a quiet and safe residential area, still close to schools, shops and local conveniences. We have a three room structure with Nursery, Toddler and Preschool rooms, which provide children with a variety of learning experiences in an age and developmentally appropriate manner.

Children at Goodstart Griffith Sanders Street are also provided with the opportunity to explore the large outdoor environment on a daily basis. We differ from other centres, with lovely large trees in our yards as well as our incorporation of lots of natural elements throughout the outdoor environment.



These soften the area and provide the yard with great shade all year round – with elements such as sandpits, large climbing areas, forts, vegetable gardens, a boat, undercover verandahs and lots of space.

About You:





- Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks

- Certificate III in commercial cookery preferred but not essential if you have experience

- Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies

- Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing

- Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director

- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks

- Willingness to learn and be a part of the team

- Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual
