About the role

This unique opportunity exists for an experienced Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse to step into a Clinical Facilitator role within the Mater Education Team and the clinical areas of Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg. The position is offered on permanent part time basis at 16 hours per week.

Salary range: $49.88 - $53.43 (RN lvl 2) per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging

What you’ll be doing

As Clinical Facilitator within education you will be primarily responsible for supporting the professional development of the nursing team and have a commitment to education and to delivering safe, quality, evidence-based patient care. This role entails wide and diverse coordination, provision and monitoring of unit-based and organisational objectives to mandatory and role-requisite education, as well as National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards initiatives, the revision and implementation of new policies and models of care, clinical facilitation and the identification, implementation and evaluation of best practice models.

About you

- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years recent clinical experience working as a Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse within the Scrub Scout/CSD perioperative environment




- Post graduate qualifications in speciality and/or education or willingness to work towards achieving same
- Demonstrated experience in clinical facilitation and preceptorship
- Cert IV Training and Assessment or equivalent, or willingness to work towards achieving the same
- High Level communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Strong focus on professional self-development and that of others
