Allianz Australia’ Risk and Compliance Customer Advisory division is currently looking for a Corporate Compliance Analyst to report to the Head of Advisory and Business Partnering . The primary purpose of this Line 2 role is to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of compliance management through the provision of support, advice, guidance, collaboration and challenge to the Line 1 compliance environment including controls, incident management and reporting processes
What are you going to do?
- Support the team to maintain an effective and efficient compliance program through the conduct and implementation of specific project initiatives.
- Conduct assurance activity that is appropriate, accurate and complete in regard to relevant laws, regulations, codes and organisational standards
- Develop, operate and maintain currency of compliance owned procedures and processes
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of issues facing the organisation and support business stakeholders in meeting group, regulatory and industry requirements and standards
- Guide,
support and influence business unit teams to embed the Public Document Due Diligence Process and perform adequate and appropriate oversight activities
- Continue to enhance the Public Due Diligence Process
- Promote a positive risk and continuous improvement culture.
What will you bring to the table?
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline potentially with relevant accreditations desirable
- Experience in a compliance role acquired within a complex, matrixed general insurance or financial services organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
- Experience in the General Insurance industry and a demonstrated understanding of its key drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong skilled relationships and influence outcomes.
- Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Learn through being supported and encouraged to take on new challenges that will help you to develop new skills
