Our Doveton store is looking for a dedicated and reliable team member in the role of Counter Sales!
Full training will be provided for you to succeed in your new role!
About THE ROLE
This position will suit a self-motivated, 'hands on" individual who enjoys building good customer relations and working as a key member of the team.
A level of physical fitness is needed as this role requires manually lifting heavy items.
The main duties of this role include:
- Provide great customer service for our face-to-face customers, plus over the phone and email
- Cash handling, daily invoicing and warranty paperwork
- Charging and fitting batteries
- Accurate picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders
- Live our Values!
Work hours either 8.00am to 4.30pm or 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours) with rostered Saturday mornings (paid at penalty rates)
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Previous experience in a similar position handling Counter Sales/Customer Service duties
- Confident and comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
- Able to match numbers, follow written instructions, have a high attention to detail with memory for part numbers
- Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting,
including some repetitive lifting (30kgs) while observing safe lifting practices.
- Professionally presented and comfortable being the face of the company
- Flexible and adaptable working within a quick-paced, changing environment
- You have good computer skills and are willing to learn Point of Sale.
- Mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded
- Like to have fun!
