Your new company
This large material handling company located in Moorebank is looking for a motivated Financial Accountant to join their team.
Your new role:
- Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete month end reporting
- Maintain General Ledger
- Assist with preparation of monthly results and cash flow reporting
- Assist in the preparation of group budgets and forecasts
- Maintain and administer the Online expense claim system
- Prepare monthly VISA journals
- Provide support on commercial and financial related matters
- Advise business process improvement opportunities
- Provide assistance to finance team where required.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Accounting qualification
- Min. 3 years in similar role
- Recent experience with medium to large ERP system and high volume transactions
- Experience working in retail will be highly regarded
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to think outside the square and challenge the status quo
