Dawson's Garden World has been a successful Garden Centre for over 120 years. We operate 4 retail stores as well as a Production Nursery. We currently have a permanent part time position (Thursday and Friday) available at our O'Connor store that would suit a motivated horticulturist.
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate II, III, or IV in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a retail Garden Centre is preferred, but not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, including offering recommendations and facilitating sales.
- Maintain and merchandise stock to create visually appealing displays.
- Identify and troubleshoot pests and diseases.
- Operate Point of Sale system (training provided).
- Handle telephone inquiries efficiently.
- Perform general cleaning, weeding, weed spraying, and pest spraying.
