The Role | Reporting to Senior Financial Accountant
Duties Will Include
- Analysis of monthly results
- Month-end processing, budgeting, and forecasting, and off-charging as required
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, half yearly and yearly financial results, in accordance with internal timetable
- Financial reconciliations prepared in timely manner
- Ensure all reports and data are prepared and delivered as agreed with external audit
- Preparation of statistical information.
- Preparation of month end journals and reports
- Ensure an understanding of key balance sheet movements
- Identify risks & opportunities for the business in timely manner to enable mitigation &/or action.
- Continually look for opportunities to improve processes to simplify activities.

Candidate Profile
- CA / CPA qualified or near completion
- Prior experience within a large, fast-paced commercial organisation or a Big4 / mid-tier accounting firm
- Strong communication skills and external stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to drive improvements in processes and analyse large datasets
