As a Graduate Estimator, you will be working with a team of experienced estimators and project managers, gaining valuable on-the-job training and experience in all aspects of the estimating process.
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Responsibilities:
- Assist the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive tenders
- Review and understand project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Take off quantities from drawings and input into estimating software
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and pricing information
- Prepare subcontractor and supplier comparisons
- Attend site inspections and meetings as required
- Provide general support to the estimating team as required
Requirements:
- Degree in construction, engineering, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
