At Bendigo UFS we

- Focus on providing quality counselling and the best outcomes for our patients.
- Deliver a range of pharmacy services including vaccinations, blood pressure checks, diabetes education and sleep apnoea.
- Prioritise ongoing professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medicines and health conditions.
- Work with health professionals and GPs to ensure patient safety.

As a Pharmacist you will be responsible for:

- Dispensing scripts and providing counselling to patients in accordance with quality guidelines.
- Providing pharmacy services including vaccinations within your scope of practice.
- Mentoring pharmacy assistants, technicians and interns.
- Liaising with GPs and other health providers to ensure the appropriate and safe provision of medications.
- Working with the Pharmacy Manager and your team to ensure the provision of quality patient care.

Required skills and attributes:





- Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA (newly registered Pharmacists are welcome to apply)
- Commitment to patient care and service with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Strong knowledge of medications.
- Experience providing patient counselling.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Pharmacist Immuniser trained is desirable (or willingness to obtain).
- Organised approach to work.
- Great communication skills.

This is a full-time position, however 4 days a week could be negotiated.

A competitive hourly rate is available (with penalty and overtime rates additional) as well as relocation assistance. Free immunisation and first aid training is available upon commencement.

Applicants must be willing to work some weekend shifts (minimum being every 2nd Saturday), some evenings, some public holidays, and to assist with the View St overnight pharmacist on-call roster (relieving permanent overnight pharmacists only). Penalty rates (paid on over-award rate) and daily on-call allowance is payable.
