About the role

Don’t just talk about the future be part of it, join our passionate Future Energy team, in Melbourne, as the Product. With the rapid growth of Electric Vehicle uptake in Australia you will develop customer solutions that will deliver low cost, renewable charging solutions in the home and also ensure customer’s EV always have enough charge to get them to where they are going.

You will build and own the product roadmap, driven from customer insights and utilizing knowledge of charging technology, retail energy, knowledge of EV mobility and charging behaviour. This is an exciting space to help customers (and the planet) transition to electrify and decarbonise their vehicles.

You will also:

- Defining the product roadmap for the next 6-12 months alongside UX and Growth
- You will identify customer problems, develop and validate your hypothesis to inform the Home EV charging product roadmap with input from customers, designers, engineers and others across Origin.
- You will be responsible for working with a cross functional team of UX, BA and development teams, to determine high level requirements, and deliver the solutions in line with your product roadmap. You will also be keeping abreast of new charging technologies and competitor offerings.
- Once in market you will manage products through their initial launch and into growth,



continuing to iterate the solution from your customer insights, data while driving commercial viability.

About You

You will consider yourself an EV guru, with a passion for solving problems, and owning outcomes, where your ability to communicate and work with people are your key strengths.

You are an organised, self-starter, who can facilitate outcomes, whilst recognising the importance of reaching consensus amongst stakeholders in a professional, fact-based manner. And an appetite to challenge the status quo in a way that energises and engages others.

You will also be able to demonstrate.

- 8 years product management experience in relevant organisations and industries.
- Experience as a product leader of a software product, with experience growing products through a combination of big bets and experiments
- Experience in developing product roadmaps then bringing the product to life from initial discovery through to launch, then growth, breaking down large problems into small deliverable increments
- Commercially savvy and track record of data lead decision making
- Familiarity with Agile and lean validation
- Proven experience in successfully delivering business initiatives within competitive and commercial environments
- You are an awesome communicator, stakeholder manager
