A little bit about the role...

Endeavour Foundation is a member of Charitable Recycling Australia (CRA)which promotes the impact of the charitable reuse, recycling and retail sector. As a Recycling Attendant, you will play an integral role in the coordination of recyclable goods to ensure objects are recycled appropriately, you will also:

Inspect the load of each recycling truck entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areas

Assist customers to unload contents and advise the most appropriate methods of disposing of contents by providing instructions for the separation of specified materials to ensure safety requirements are met

Drive our Endeavour Foundation recycling trucks when fellow staff members are on annual leave

Maintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises to ensure Endeavour and the waste facility’s image is of the highest standard

Comply with Endeavour’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in and out of the workplace is upheld

What will you bring to the role?





Superb customer service, outstanding communication, and excellent time management skills

Comfortable with heavy lifting and working on your feet all day

You can work with minimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for others

Forklift ticket would be highly desirable

Intermediate computer skills

A current Driver's Licence and own transport due to limited public transport at some sites
