Permanent part time positions based at Brisbane City Council resource recovery site - Nudgee

If you are a customer orientated person and passionate about recycling, then this is the role for you!

What will you bring to the role?

Superb customer service, great communication and a keen eye for resalable goods!

Comfortable with heavy liftin and utilising manual handling equipment.

You can work with minimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for others.

Have some availability for weekend work.

A little bit about the role...

Endeavour Foundation is a member of Charitable Recycling Australia (CRA)which promotes the impact of the charitable reuse, recycling and retail sector. As a Recycling Attendant, you will play an integral role in the coordination of recyclable goods to ensure objects are recycled appropriately, you will also:

Inspect the load of each recycling truck entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areas

Direct customers where to unload contents and advise the most appropriate methods of disposing.

Maintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises to ensure Endeavour and the waste facility’s image is of the highest standard

Comply with Endeavour’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in and out of the workplace is upheld
