My client is a well established local subsidiary of a global manufacturer of a broad range of gearboxes, gearmotors and associated electromechanical parts used in a broad array of industrial and mining applications. The company employs 30000 people world-wide.

Locally, it is a wholesaler and distributes its products to major resellers and OEM's from a state based network of branches.

Right now an exciting opportunity exists for a talented and motivated new business development manager to continue to build the company's reseller channels in NSW. This role is circa 75% new partner development and 25% maintaining existing resellers and is part of a sales team.

In this role you will:

- Develop and support new channel partners in NSW to meet sales and product budgets.
- Set and monitor sales and product targets with resellers.
- Train and support reseller sales teams via product training, infield sales support and attendence at trade fairs etc.
- Respond to requests for tender and technical support.
- Maintain customer data bases and report on key developments in your area.




- Be available to travel circa one week per quarter to support regional resellers.

About you:

The ideal candidate will already be working in sales with a major overseas manufacturer of gearboxes and gearmotors. However we are willing to accept applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates working in channel/reseller development of other electromechanical parts so long as you have the capacity to learn and have a good established, relevent network of potential recent resellers.

You will be a self starter with energy and drive to succeed in a well supported team.

You will possess superior communication and relationship building skills. Trade or other tertiary qualifications are desirable but we are looking for the very best candidate for the role.
