Job Description

As our Devops team is growing, we are looking for a passionate and driven DevOps Engineer to join our Australian based Devops team.

You'll work collaboratively with software engineering to operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, security and operations.
Also troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.

In this diverse role, you will work across Xref, RapidID and Voice Project to help building functional systems that continuously improve our customer’s experience.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

- Build and setting up new infrastructure and development tools.
- Work to automate and streamline our operations and processes communicating status and impediments to progress.




- Work closely and communicate effectively with the development team and product stakeholders to ensure project outcomes adhere to agreed quality.
- Continuously improve performance and security of Infrastructure.
- Oversee multiple data centres to protect our ever-growing global clients and users.
- Maintain CI CD pipeline.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and production errors.
- Attend iteration planning sessions and participate in the sizing of the effort.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.
- Explore new technologies and share findings with the development team.
- Share DevOps tooling and practises with the development team.
- Manage the successful outcomes of all deliverables within the resource and time.
- Participate in project stand-ups by effectively.

What we are looking for:

- Demonstrated (3+ years) experience working with AWS & AZURE, a proven track record of building cloud infrastructure
- Good knowledge of AWS networking, authentication and security
- Good Knowledge of Azure containers, networking, Blob storage, Azure SQL, Identity Services and security.
- Experience in infrastructure solutions deployments and infrastructure code development
- Proficient in CI/CD tools and technologies such as Github-actions, Travis CI, AWS CodeDeploy
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash
- Understanding of Web and API development (Event Driven, SOA, Microservices)
- A collaborator and someone who can communicate effectively with the development team and product stakeholders

Nice to haves:

- Knowledge of programming languages(eg: e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
- Technical knowledge of / experience with: Terraform, Docker, Serverless, Datadog
