Wilsons is looking for an experienced Finance Officer. The purpose of this role involves the preparation of Private Wealth Advisory (PWA) & Corporate Authorised Representatives (CAR) monthly remuneration reporting and to provide ongoing Revex platform management and maintenance support.

Responsibilities:

- Preparation of monthly PWA Remuneration Reports:
- Downloading and reconciling of all Revenue Data; Brokerage, IMS, External Platforms
- Upload all Revenue Files, adjustments and advisor charges
- Monitor and manage advisor yearly marketing budgets
- Respond to advisor queries
- Reconciliation and preparation of PWA remuneration statements

Preparation of monthly RCTIs for Advisor Third Party Referral Sharing (RCTI’s) Agreements:

- Maintain and update Advisor Third Party Referral Sharing (RCTI’s) Agreements and generate monthly RCTIs (Recipient created tax invoices)

Reconciliation and Preparation of monthly retired advisor remuneration statements

- Generate monthly RCTIs (Recipient created tax invoices)

Preparation of monthly CAR (Corporate Authorised Representative) remuneration reports:





- Generate CARs remuneration reports and RCTI

Assist Management Accountant with:

- The reconciliation and upload of the approved Quarterly Advisor Revenue/Grid Adjustments.
- Preparation of the monthly revenue reporting
- Ad-hoc duties and advisor requests

Other items:

- Creation of debtor invoices for internal departments as required.
- Following up of outstanding debtor invoices with Advisors/TAs and finalising EOM Aged Debtor Reports
- Uploading of the daily bank transaction file into Finance1, reconciling bank accounts, following up on any unidentified items and posting relevant journals and receipts
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations for Wilsons entities
- Maintain client and advisor data across software platforms

- Quick Learner
- Intermediate – Advanced Excel Skills, Intermediate – Microsoft word skills
- University Degree in Business / Commerce / other finance related discipline preferred
- Financial Services Industry experience preferred
- Experience working within a Finance Team and using finance platforms
