We are an ambitious and passionate bunch of people who are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer with a customer centric mindset to join our team in Melbourne.

Ideally you will have a strong technical background and a knack for sales as you will play a crucial role supporting our sales team, managing customer enquiries and ensuring the seamless communication between our customers and our team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers
- Analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Promptly manage incoming calls and provide accurate detailed product information and quotations as required
- Follow up on leads and conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities
- Follow up on quotations to increase sales conversions
- Process purchase orders and manager back orders
- Maintain accurate records of quotations and customer interactions
- Ensure timely order processing and shipping
- Handle customer complaints and returns
- Support the sales team with technical insights and guidance




- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product offerings and industry trends

You will come to us with:

- Previous experience working in a similar role ideally across the instrumentation industry
- Strong technical aptitude and experience with sales
- A Diploma or Degree in an Engineering based discipline highly desirable
- Driven and curious mindset always finding ways of improving the quality of your work
- Hands on operator who is known for your collaboration across teams, functions and locations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A “Can Do Attitude” and ability to be a self-starter
