About the role

We are looking for a high calibre individual to join our thriving sales team as a Account Manager. This position includes an extensive company induction, onboarding and training programme designed to progress the position from an internal to an external role within 12 months. Graduate positions will be considered.

Account Managers are responsible for:

Maximising sales within the assigned customer portfolio (and uncovering new customers and opportunities) by executing of our sales growth strategies

Developing and maintaining business partnerships with key decision makers whilst creating and executing plans that discover and help drive our customer’s strategic initiatives.





Designing solutions that apply value propositions and strategies to further commercialise existing and new products and services.

Supporting customer service and continuous improvement through Swagelok’s values and initiatives

Skills and experience

Bachelor’s Degree or trade qualification. Engineering discipline desirable.

Strong business and financial acumen with the ability and genuine willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate and negotiate with key decision makers and high-level client personnel.

Proven ability to understand technical concepts, engineering processes and to take learning new ideas/concepts in their stride with a proactive approach to problem solving and initiative.

Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business systems.

Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to prioritise tasks

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Creative with great attention to detail

Self-motivated, proactive individual with a real ‘can-do’ attitude and a hands-on approach to delivering tangible results
