Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily GMP Walkthrough the production facility, Warehouses and QA checks on production lines.
- Handling customer complaints, implement quality control policies, Conduct Internal Audits, Prepare for necessary training requirements for production staff. Shelf life Assessment, identifying faults throughout the production process and adhering to legislation requirements.
- Analyze nearly finished product samples daily for quality, durability, safety and known product specifications before the final stage of production.
- Evaluate the materials routinely used during production, the work environment and components during production by running specific tests of quality. Knowledge of Allergens is required but not mandatory.
- Report to Quality Assurance Manager in regards to customer or in-house problems with product quality or performance by investigating all parts of the production process.
- Document quality assurance practices by entering data into logbooks, noting information in computer databases and recording verification activities and also Verify Production QC check Sheets on daily basis.
- Ensure that during all parts of the production schedule that the product meets all guidelines related to federal,
state and local regulations that pertain to the industry.
- Communicate with management and QA Manager when problems arise and offer possible solutions to help correct any mistakes during manufacturing.
- Assess quality assurance strategies periodically to determine best practices and improvements that could lead to fewer problems and interruptions in the production schedule.
- Work through the Recent Product development process which includes Recipe, Sample making, sensory assessment, Send sample to External lab analysis, Prepare relevant documentation for New product launch.
- Organise retention samples on daily basis, conduct Finished product assessment. Validation of Systems and Verification of activities
- Based on the previous experience of the candidate, 2 weeks internal training is provided.
About you
The ideal candidate is determined to learn and gain further exposure to managing the quality of all outgoing material and products, as well as production procedures, upholding GFSI SQF Audit Standards, and has:
- Must have experience in Food Manufacturing / Quality Management.
- Must have high attention to detail and can do attitude.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles & tools.
- Good communication skills.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- A work ethic which consistently demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and logical thinking in your approach to tasks.
