Your role:

The Land Manager for Decarbonisation will play a critical role in driving strategic land and property planning, assessment, and acquisition. This includes managing negotiations, due diligence, and legal access to facilitate the decarbonisation of energy systems. The role involves developing and executing strategies to secure access to land and property for centralised and customer energy resources. Establishing land and property access agreements is a critical step for supporting renewable energy installations and advancing a renewable future.

Responsibilities:

- Lead safety and compliance for land and property access.
- Develop and align land access strategies with company objectives.
- Manage land access in line with frameworks and processes, including PMM, Health and Safety, and Legal/Financial frameworks.
- Create land plans, guidelines, commercial models, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Oversee land acquisition, including budget and schedule management.
- Facilitate land assessment and acquisition; manage key relationships with government and stakeholders.




- Oversee property transactions and address legal matters related to land access.

People Management:

- Lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage multiple projects and foster cross-business collaboration.
- Ensure land access aligns with corporate strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams on communication, sustainability, and Aboriginal engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Tertiary qualifications in law or project management preferred.
- Experience in land access, property transactions, and project management.
- Robust leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work independently.
