ABRS is currently looking for an experienced caseworker to join a team of skilled practitioners providing crucial child protection services to vulnerable families at risk of entering the Out of Home Care system. As an experienced caseworker, you will hold a more complex caseload and use your expertise to provide mentorship to your colleagues, with the aim of reducing risk and strengthening safety within families.

This role will involve;

- Engage and support complex-risk families to make different choices for their children.
- Conduct initial assessments of family strengths and needs.
- Develop case plans that build on family resilience to overcome risks.
- Utilize evidence-informed practices to support families.
- Partner with other services to provide comprehensive support.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of Social Workers, Case Managers and Psychologists with the support of a strong leadership and practice spinalization team.





They are looking for candidates with strong casework experience in the child protection field.

The requirements for this role include;

- Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field
- Minimum 3 years casework experience in Child Protection or a related family based program
- Previous experience providing support and mentorship to other caseworkers
- Solid understanding of NSW Child Protection legislation
- Current driver’s license and WWCC
