About Us

Myxa is a registered NDIS Service provider assisting people with disability, their family, and carers. We deliver individually tailored services to maximise participant choice and control. We aim to support our participants to empower them to achieve their goals and live a full life.

Your new role

As the House Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of quality care and support to Myxa participants in line with organisational requirements and NDIS practice standards. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:

- Lead and support a team of Disability Support Workers within a permanent accommodation environment
- Oversee and manage daily operations of support services
- Work collaboratively with participants care team including allied health specialists to ensure participants care plans is being met and support services are of the highest quality
- Ensure participant documentation is regularly reviewed and up to date
- Induct current support staff into the workplace
- Conduct supervision sessions with support staff
- Manage conflict and address performance within your team
- Participate as required in staff meetings, supervision and training sessions
- Identify, report, and follow up on any workplace health and safety issues
- Manage, report, and follow up on any incidents
- General administration duties

What you’ll need to succeed

You are a compassionate and reliable individual with a real desire to make a difference to the lives of people living with disability. You’ll have previous experience and a clear understanding of the NDIS,



The NDIS practice standards and participant support requirements.

Key Selection Criteria

- Relevant qualification
- Experience supporting a team
- Strong understanding of the complex needs of people living with disability
- Experience supporting participants with complex care requirements including behaviours of concern
- Understanding and experience in delivering services according to NDIS Practice Standards
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent time management and task planning skills
- A high level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and initiative
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- First Aid / CPR
- Driver’s licence
