GTNT Group is looking for someone to join our Workforce Australia Division as an Employment Consultant based at our Alice Springs office. The Employment Consultant is focused on finding sustainable employment outcomes for participants within the Workforce Australia program, by actively identifying opportunities with local employers through business development, securing and supporting placements.

Salary Package

Salary is $80,500pa plus super. Position is provided with a work mobile phone and surface pro.

About the Role

The Employment Consultant position provides one-on-one support to help your caseload of job seekers achieve sustainable and fulfilling employment outcomes.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality, individually tailored services and support, with the aim of placing people into sustainable employment with local employers. You will mentor your clients; provide coaching, guidance, motivation from job preparation to placed with an employer up until 26 weeks. Our caseload sizes enable you to spend the time to understand your clients need and match them to the right employer.





The Employment Consultants have the ability to work both in the field and office, to try and facilitate better service options for employers and jobseekers.

- It would be highly desirable to have knowledge and background in jobactive and knowledge of ESS or have relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communication and build trust and rapport with jobseekers and employers
- Robust communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgrounds
- Be passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community
- Be highly organised and possess strong administration skills
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases
- Be driven by achieving targets
- Have demonstrated experience with managing a caseload of clients.
- Must hold a current drivers licence
- Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia as a citizen or permanent resident. It is a requirement of the position to undertake a National Police Check & Working with Children Check prior to appointment.
